Whether the title uses forceful, intense language — words that convey conviction, urgency, or power. Not profanity, but words like 'crushing,' 'devastating,' 'outrageous,' 'unprecedented,' or 'dangerous.'
Strong language creates emotional weight that makes titles stand out in a feed. Mild language produces mild interest. But calibration matters — if every video uses words like 'devastating' and 'unprecedented,' the audience becomes numb and the words lose impact.
Average Video shows the effect on a typical video. Top 10% Video shows the effect on videos in the top 10% of views — estimated via quantile regression, so you can see whether a factor helps most videos a little, or pushes the top performers much higher.
